We’re lucky living in Hampshire, as a –  on our doorstep we have stunning countryside, the coast and lots of beautiful gardens. Working as a family photographer Portsmouth for almost 20 years , creating your family story starts with choosing a location where your kids can be KIDS. We all love to see our children laugh, as a mum myself I adore seeing my little man belly laugh, it melts my heart. Gone are the days when booking a family portrait was filled with dread that you kids will misbehave, dad will complain do we really need to do this, and mum would probably be thinking I hate having my picture taken. Instead, I invite you to come and hang out with a modern style of family photography, where you get to just hand out and immerse yourself in belly laughs, hugs and create something amazing on camera that you are going to adore looking at FOREVER. I will tell you a secret, family outdoors photo sessions are my favourite type of photoshoots.

-to book your session I require non-refundable retainer fee of £100, which will be deducted from your final payment
-session time: newborn up to 3hrs
-session takes place in my purpose built studio in Denmead PO7 6XS
– purchased digital images will be send via private gallery
-you will be guided step by step, including preparation and wardrobe choices
-viewing of your photographs – 1:1 viewing session or online gallery
-no need to decide on BASIC/PREMIUM/COMPLETE now, you will choose when you see your final photographs

-additional products (ALBUMS/WALL ART etc) will be presented at your presentation (4 weeks after session), those finished products are of professional quality and optional

This review is well overdue, we had a family session with her October 2025 and as it was the first professional session any of us had ever had – the expectations were uncertain and low.

However, Ania communicated clearly and provided a lot of tips/ pre shoot information which put us at ease. During the photo shoot she was kind, patient and overall professional. She eased the tension and worked well with our toddler.

The photos were amazing and we loved so so many, it was nearly impossible to just chose a few. The photos were used as gifts for my family who all were equally impressed and amazed at the results.

10/10 would recommend.

What to Expect From Your Family Photography Session

Every family is different — and that’s exactly how I approach each session. Whether we’re meeting on a windy Hampshire beach, walking through woodland, beach near Chichester, or creating something timeless in my studio, the experience is designed to feel relaxed and natural.

You don’t need to worry about poses or “what to do with your hands.” I gently guide you into flattering positions, but I leave plenty of room for movement, laughter, and real connection. Children don’t need to sit still or smile on command — in fact, the most beautiful images often happen in between those moments.

I focus on interaction rather than perfection. Walking together. Cuddles. A whisper in mum’s ear. Dad lifting little ones into the air. Those in-between seconds are where the magic lives.

Outdoor Family Photography in Hampshire & West Sussex

Outdoor sessions are perfect if you love natural light and open space. Some of my favourite locations include:

If you prefer something more controlled and classic, studio sessions are a wonderful option. My style is clean and natural — soft tones, simple backgrounds, and the focus entirely on you.

You don’t need to bring much. I’ll guide you on clothing choices beforehand, and we’ll create a cohesive look that feels authentic to your family.

What Should You Wear?

Clothing plays a big role in how your photos feel. I always recommend:

  • Coordinated outfits (not matching exactly)
  • Avoiding large logos or heavy patterns
  • Textures like knits, linen, denim
