I’m Ania Nicholls, a photographer based in Eastergate, near Chichester. Ania is pronounced “Anya”. I’m also a mum to a boy who melts my heart every day. Of course, he also has me pulling my hair out in between!

For me, photography is about simple, honest storytelling. It isn’t only about how you look. Instead, it records a moment in your life and how you felt right then. That might be your wedding day, full of excitement. Or it might be the day your first baby arrives, with a whole new chapter ahead.

Most of all, I’d love to watch your family grow over the years. That way, you’ll have a collection of photos that stays special to you for a long time.

During a session, I won’t ask you to hold stiff poses. Instead, I give gentle prompts and let moments unfold on their own, so children can be themselves. For newborns, safety and comfort always come first, which is why we go at your baby’s pace. Afterwards, I edit every image by hand. Then I share them in a private online gallery, where you can choose your favourites.
