Best time to book
My recommendation would be booking maternity session after your first scan. Session fee and contract signed secures your booking. There are few times of the year (spring, September and December which we call “Baby Boom” – lots of babies are born. Please book in advance to avoid disappointment. Session takes ideally from 30th week of your pregnancy. (different if expecting twins)
Props and accessories
I have a number of beautiful props and accessories we can use for styling. You will be guided what to bring with you and how to prepare.
Family included
Partners and older children are always welcome to join your maternity session. Including your family creates meaningful, connected images that tell the full story of this chapter.
Safety first
I have experience in photographing families for over 15 years now, newborns – 8 years. I am fully insured, trained and took first aid course.

Booking is simple — just get in touch via the contact form or email on this website to check availability. To secure your date, I ask for a non-refundable retainer fee of £100, which is deducted from your final payment. Sessions are available across Portsmouth, Hampshire and West Sussex.
I recommend booking your maternity session after your first scan, ideally between 28 and 34 weeks of pregnancy. At this stage your bump is beautifully round but you are still comfortable and mobile. Popular times of year book up fast — spring, September and December are especially busy — so booking early is always advisable.
All sessions take place outdoors at beautiful natural locations across Hampshire and West Sussex. Popular locations include beaches, woodland and open countryside near Portsmouth, West Wittering, Chichester, Fareham and the New Forest. I help you choose the perfect spot to suit your style and the season.
I offer three packages: Basic (£295) includes the session and 5 high-resolution digital images; Premium (£495) includes the session, 10 images, outfits and accessories; and Complete (£595) includes the full gallery of 20+ edited images, plus a black and white version of each shot. All sessions include professional editing, use of props and styling guidance. You choose your package after viewing your final images.
You will be fully guided on wardrobe choices before your session. Light, flowing fabrics in neutral or soft tones tend to photograph beautifully outdoors. I have a selection of gorgeous maternity gowns and wraps available for you to borrow. The most important thing is that you feel comfortable and confident — I will help you with every detail so you can simply enjoy the experience.
Sessions last up to 1 hour 30 minutes. This gives us plenty of time to explore the location, try different poses and outfits, and capture a variety of beautiful images without ever feeling rushed. Your images will be ready to view approximately 4 weeks after your session.
