Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing O&F on Southsea Beach in Portsmouth. It was a delightful winter sunset session, filled with natural moments, laughter, and a strong connection that left me eagerly anticipating their spring wedding.

Southsea Beach, with its scenic beauty and serene ambiance, is a gem on the southern coast of England. Known for its pebbled shores and expansive views of the Solent, it provides a perfect backdrop for capturing memorable moments. The winter sunset casts a golden hue over the landscape, making it an ideal setting for a romantic engagement photo shoot.

From the moment I met O&F, I knew this session would be special. They radiated warmth and excitement, eager to share their story and vision for the shoot. Their request for natural, candid shots spoke volumes about their desire to capture genuine moments rather than staged poses.

As the sun began its descent, Southsea Beach transformed into a wonderland of colors. The sky painted with shades of orange, pink, and purple, creating a stunning backdrop. This winter sunset provided the perfect lighting for our session, highlighting O&F’s joy and affection in every shot.

Most sessions last around 1 hour, depending on the location.

Weather can be unpredictable, but cloudy days often provide excellent lighting. If conditions are too harsh, we can reschedule or find an alternative indoor location.
