How far in advance should we book our newborn session?
To ensure availability, I recommend booking as early as possible, ideally during your second or third trimester. This allows us to schedule the session within the first two weeks after birth—often the best time for those sleepy, curled-up poses. If for any reason you decided that you would love to have a newborn session and your baby is already born, do not hesitate CONTACT ME , as sometimes I have last minute availibility.
What should we bring to the newborn session?
I provide a variety of props and blankets, wraps, clothes, hairbands in the studio, so don’t worry if you’re unsure—just bring yourselves, and we’ll have everything we need! All the information on how to prepare can be found in my PREPARATION GUIDE
How long does a typical newborn session take?
A newborn session typically takes around 2-3 hours. This gives us plenty of time for feeding, soothing, and capturing a variety of poses without feeling rushed.
Can siblings be part of the newborn session?
Absolutely! Including siblings is a wonderful way to capture family bonds. I’ll guide you on how to involve everyone so that we get natural, beautiful moments together.
What safety measures do you take during newborn sessions?
Newborn safety is my top priority. I have extensive training in handling and positioning newborns safely. Additionally, I keep the studio warm and sanitized, handling babies with the utmost care to ensure everyone is comfortable and secure.
What if my baby is fussy or unsettled during the session?
Don’t worry—this is completely normal, and I have plenty of experience soothing newborns. We’ll take breaks as needed for feeding and cuddling. My goal is to make sure everyone, especially the baby, is comfortable and relaxed throughout the session.
How do we receive our photos after the session?
After your session, I’ll edit and curate a selection of the best images. You’ll be invited back for your presentation. I also offer print options for those wanting to create albums, wall art, or keepsakes. Those will be shown during your presentation meeting.
